During Term 1 the
year 5 and 6 students looked at cyber-safety. We completed something called a
Digital Licence which was a program created by the Alannah and Madeleine
foundation. The program consists of 8 tests each with 10 questions in them. You
get scored out of 100% and the passing score is 80%. Once you have passed each
section you get your digital license. The 8 areas you need to pass are Digital
Devices, Protecting Privacy, Searching and Researching, Creating and Sharing,
Social Networking and Gaming, Communicating Safely Online, Friends and
Strangers and Managing Money and Online Credits. These help you learn how to
become a safer citizen on the internet. Below is a copy of the digital licence
we were given once we successfully completed each section.
